Robin Hood 3x02 "Cause and Effect"

So we left off last time with the gang picking up a new member, Tuck, who helped Robin rediscover his mission to help the poor and fight for England. Now we have five members in the gang: Robin, Much, John, Allan, and Tuck, all of whom are fighting against Guy and the sheriff, whose relationship, both with each other and with Prince John, seems to be on shaky ground. This seems like such a sausage fest now that Djaq and Marian are gone, but I don't even want to complain about it because I know Kate's coming soon (maybe this episode?) and it will only be worse once she gets here. Who knows though...maybe she'll grow on me. It's doubtful, but maybe. I don't remember what this episode is about at all so I can't give any kind of introduction to it, so let's just start watching. Thoughts While Watching: I like how the second episode of season three starts with a montage of the gang stealing stuff just like the second episode of season two did. But this ti...

Robin Hood 3x01 "Total Eclipse"

Guess what? I don't remember a damn thing about season three. It's almost going to be like watching this for the first time. Actually, that's an exaggeration. I remember a few things: I remember that Tuck was a let down and Kate was obnoxious, I remember that Much had a crush on Kate and she was mean to him, I remember panicking thinking that Allan and Kate would end up together but then that went no where, I remember that Guy's sister Isabella shows up and her and Robin get into a semi-relationship before they break up, she becomes sheriff, and she joins the dark side, I remember bits and pieces of Guy's redemption storyline which ended with him dying in Robin's arms, I remember that Keith Allen left the show for awhile and everything was terrible because he was like literally the only thing holding this shitshow together, I remember Prince John showing up, I remember a random lion but nothing of the circumstances surrounding it, I remember Robin and Kate getti...

Robin Hood 2x13 "We Are Robin Hood!"

Here we are...at the season two finale. It happened too fast! The first two seasons of this show are absolutely amazing and wonderful, but then this episode is the turning point. The show made two horrible mistakes here and it will never recover from them in the third and final season. The third season is missing all of the magic that made the first two seasons so great. It almost feels like a different show in some ways, in my opinion anyway. As much as I would've loved to stop before the season two two-part finale and just go back to the beginning again, the rewatch must go on. So here we go... Warning: This post randomly includes two bullet points with Buffy the Vampire Slayer spoilers. I give a spoiler alert right before I go into my points (I'm comparing similar aspects between the two shows), but be cautious if you haven't seen/finished Buffy, plan to watch Buffy, and you're the type of person whose eyes wander around the page. Thoughts While Watching: ...

Robin Hood 2x12 "A Good Day to Die"

Well, it's the first part of the two-part season finale. The start of the downward spiral, the lead up to the ultimate jump the shark episode (this show jumped the shark so hard in the next episode that they should rename it "stab the Marian"), and it's the episode that contains the godawful Barn Scene of Ick. I gotta say...I hate this. Now, there are admittedly some good parts of this episode. I like the idea of a night of confessions and I thought that John's, Much's, and Robin's confession scenes were all excellent. And Allan being a hero and coming back to the gang is amazing!!! This episode does still have a few good things about it despite being one half of the worst season finale ever. I'm not gonna lie though, I'm still dreading this...but I guess let's get started anyway. The scene this image came from is probably my least favorite scene in the whole show, but Djaq is absolutely beautiful in it. Truly stunning. So is Will for tha...
