Robin Hood 1x08 "Tattoo? What Tattoo?"

This episode is a major turning point for the show. It calls back to a few things we've seen before, including Robin's nightmare from a few episodes ago, his wound, and the conversation he had with Guy in the first episode when Guy mentioned having seen Robin fight before, all of which was foreshadowing for the big reveal in this episode. The episode is sort of split into two parts. Half of it is focused on Djaq, her capture, and the attempts to free her, and the other half is focused on Guy and Robin. It's a really important episode with some great scenes in it and gives some fascinating insight into Robin's character, including in my opinion, highlighting several of his major character flaws. Robin Hood 2x10 "Walkabout"

We're getting down to the last couple of episodes of the show's golden age before it starts spiraling downward and out of control and it's making me sad just thinking about it...but we're not there yet! We still have a couple great episodes to go! In this one we have definitive proof that the sheriff was not lying about his pact with Prince John because all of Nottingham is about to be destroyed when the sheriff decides to go sleepwalking and is missing on the designated check-in day. This is a fun one, so let's get into it. Thoughts While Watching: We open with a confusing but kind of hilarious scene where the sheriff is having a nightmare about Robin stealing the Pact, he keeps mumbling about it in his sleep, and he wakes up in the middle of the forest in his black silk pjs. Guy shows up at the castle and finds Prince John's envoy there who explains that he meets with the sheriff every other Thursday to make sure he's still okay, but today he'...

Robin Hood 2x03 "Childhood"

This is a really cute episode! I loved seeing how the gang has already become legendary enough that they've reached a kind of superhero status for the local children who play as their favorite outlaw. The kids were adorable and the whole episode was sweet and fun. I definitely rewatch this one a lot and I'm excited to see it again, so let's begin! Alright, Guy fans...this pic is for you! Thoughts While Watching: The episode starts out with four little boys playing Robin Hood. We know which one is supposed to be Robin himself (Daniel), but I'm wondering who each of the rest of them are supposed to be. There's six outlaws total at this point so not all of them are going to be represented. I'm not sure if their outfits are just what they normally wear or if they're supposed to be dressed up as their chosen outlaw, because one of them seems to be wearing an outfit similar to Will's and another looks like he's wearing a vest that sort of remind...
