Time for the next episode! I’m watching it right after the first. Let’s begin!

Thoughts While Watching

  • This guy that took her to the sex party is so lame and weird. And full of himself! Bro, you really think she’s going to be “desperate” for you?
  • What a cockblock. What a lame cockblock. I’d ditch him in a heartbeat if I could have a chance with a celebrity I liked. That being said, there’s nothing special about this author. He kind of comes off as a creep too.
  • This whole party seems boring and not fun at all. Even without the lame guy. There’s nothing sexy about this balloon dance and, in my opinion, nothing sexy about being watched.
  • I’ve never used “personal reasons,” I always give them something. I usually say I’m sick or had car trouble.
  • I’ve had that happen before too. Lie to get out of something, then something real happens and ruins my plans anyway.
  • Jackie really was a nightmare from her very first scene, wasn’t she? I hate her.
  • Aww!!! That baby is so cute! I love those sucking sounds.
  • So Ben was pretty close with her whole family. That has to make the Jackie thing later on really awkward for everyone. He seems buddy buddy with Jackie’s husband in this scene and refers to himself as “Uncle Ben” to their child.
  • It kind of seems like her dad knows in this scene. I wonder if he had some idea.
  • I love Ben in the wig.
  • Who sleeps naked? Is that normal? I’d feel weird…and cold.

Final Thoughts

Not one of my favorite episodes, but I liked the parts with Ben and her family. The sex party scenes were boring to me though. Time for the next one!

This is probably the very best episode of the entire series. This is Robin Hood at it's absolute peak. I cannot even begin to explain how much I absolutely adore this episode. It ripped my heart apart and stomped on it, sure, but it is genuinely excellent in every way and contains the scene that is probably my OTP's finest moment. We're at the episode where Robin finds out he has a traitor in his gang. Personally, I think it would have been better to go another episode or two of Allan being a traitor before the big reveal as I think it would have made even more of an impact, since at this point he hasn't really betrayed them that many times. Robin Hood 2x02 "The Booby and the Beast"

This episode is one of the strangest and most ridiculous episodes of the entire series but it's also one of the most fun! It holds a special place in my heart just for being the Djaq-in-a-dress episode and has one of my absolute favorite scenes: the reactions of the rest of the gang to her wearing a dress. If you're looking for anything even closely resembling historical accuracy or realism, this definitely isn't the episode for you. But then again, if that's what you're looking for, you might want to try a different series altogether. We'll be headed to medieval Las Vegas for this one; let's begin! Robin Hood 2x10 "Walkabout"

We're getting down to the last couple of episodes of the show's golden age before it starts spiraling downward and out of control and it's making me sad just thinking about it...but we're not there yet! We still have a couple great episodes to go! In this one we have definitive proof that the sheriff was not lying about his pact with Prince John because all of Nottingham is about to be destroyed when the sheriff decides to go sleepwalking and is missing on the designated check-in day. This is a fun one, so let's get into it. Thoughts While Watching: We open with a confusing but kind of hilarious scene where the sheriff is having a nightmare about Robin stealing the Pact, he keeps mumbling about it in his sleep, and he wakes up in the middle of the forest in his black silk pjs. Guy shows up at the castle and finds Prince John's envoy there who explains that he meets with the sheriff every other Thursday to make sure he's still okay, but today he'...
