Secret Diary of a Call Girl 2x04

Is this the episode where Alex and Ben finally meet each other? With the incredibly awkward threesome with Bambi and the even more awkward three way lunch date between Hannah, Alex, and Ben? I think so. This is a fun one, let’s begin! Thoughts While Watching Alex and Hannah are really cute. I agree with Hannah’s excuse, even if it is just an excuse and not the truth. I don’t think the person you’re dating can just invite themselves to a friend hangout. I think it’s rude. The sponge trick is useful for everyone to know. Oh, lord. This guy’s mustache is too much, in combination with that hairstyle, personality, and fashion sense…oh no. There’s not enough money in the world. Bambi really does look ridiculous. Belle needs to give her lessons in how to fake arousal. Aw, look at her feeling guilty! So much for being “professional” about it though. Ben’s getting so jealous and it’s adorable! I like Alex a lot, but I’m 100% team Ben. I don’t think she was using him as a decoy at all. I th...

Robin Hood 3x13 "Something Worth Fighting For" (Part Two)

Alright, here we go. Last episode of season three and very last episode of the show. My heart is still broken from Allan’s death in the last episode, but here goes. It's the end of my rewatch. Thoughts While Watching We start with the gang mourning over Allan’s body. Much immediately feels guilty about doubting Allan. He didn’t just “doubt” Allan though, did he? He accused Allan and fully believed he was a traitor. He turned on him and threw his past mistakes in his face. And then he can’t handle the guilt so he immediately looks for someone else to blame. No, baby. I love you, you’re the only one I still love, but you deserve to feel every single ounce of that guilt. You better live with that guilt every single day until you die. I hope it eats you alive. So now the man that Guy claims to have killed is still alive but Robin still trusts him. Granted, I know that Guy really did think he killed the sheriff and wasn’t lying about it, but the point is why the fuck is Robin s...

Robin Hood 3x12 "Something Worth Fighting For" (Part One)

I finally made it to the two-part season three and series finale! This is part one, so the second to last episode of the show. My feelings on the ending of the show and especially on what happens in this episode are really mixed, so let’s see how this goes. I’m already upset just remembering what happens. Thoughts While Watching Robin is adorable. Um…Robin/Kate is still the worst ship in the history of fictional relationships. And also her whispering “I bet you can’t do it with three” seductively in his ear makes me want to puke. The king’s coming home. I’m sick of this plot. I know this time it’s for real, even though he’ll end up getting captured on his way back, but I’m so sick of hearing about King Richard and all the millions of times he’s supposedly coming home. I’m laughing so hard at Isabella screaming "failure" in that guy’s face and slapping him. I love her. I mean, I HATE what she does in this episode and I hate her for it, but I still kind of love her somehow ...

Secret Diary of a Call Girl 2x03

I really like this episode! I've always liked the part where the wife confronts her, which is definitely something to worry about in this job. Let's begin! Thoughts While Watching   Interesting how by 2x03 she’s still “not sure” about Alex but I’m pretty sure two episodes later she’s having a total meltdown over him. Nobody knows the rules about who pays. You just wing it. I always brought enough money to cover myself and offered to split if he didn’t make the move, but if he did, I let him pay. She’s being honest later when she says he told her that his name was Tony and that he wasn’t married. She really didn’t know. Not that it would have stopped her because we know it wouldn’t have, but she was still honest. This is taking an awfully long time. I mean...not ridiculously long, but still seems miserable. I mean, okay. So the wife comes in screaming accusations and Hannah has no idea who she’s talking about. The wife says her husband’s name is Matt and that he left five minute...

Secret Diary of a Call Girl 2x02

So this is the episode in which Hannah considers getting a boob job and Bambi deals with a dangerous client. Let's start watching! Thoughts While Watching “I’ll put self-employed.” I’m laughing so hard at this. She really doesn’t need any work. You know what I find interesting? She uses her clients for real life stuff. One of her clients does her taxes, now one of them is a plastic surgeon she’s going to see, but both of those things would require her real identity to be disclosed, right? Her taxes and her health insurance and all the legal and medical forms would have to be done under the name Hannah Baxter, not Belle No-last-name. Does that bother her at all? Isn’t it breaking her rule of keeping things separate? I’m kind of getting tired of her making comments about how she can’t do this or can’t do that because she’s a prostitute. She looks so worried for Bambi. It’s so sweet. Bambi’s so adorable. I love how scared she is of Stephanie, how offended she gets about the porn comme...

Secret Diary of a Call Girl 2x01

Time for season two! I absolutely love season two because I'm a big fan of Bambi. Seasons 2 and 3 are by far my favorites out of the four. Let's begin! Thoughts While Watching It’s Alex! I liked him. I still liked Hannah/Ben better, but Alex and Hannah were cute together and he seemed sweet. He didn’t deserve the level of bullshit he had to deal with. Also, I love the actor who plays Alex. He was on Smallville too. Poor Alex. He has to be so confused. IT’S BAMBI!!! I love her. “Are you sure you know where you live?” She says if you want to do this job, the first thing you need to learn is punctuality. The day after she was late for a client herself. I mean, I get it was because she got the wrong Alex, but still. Also, this is yet another reason why I could never be an escort. I’m late for everything. Douchebag: “I’m sure you like to think of yourself as a call girl.” Hannah: “Thanks, I’m sure you like to think of yourself as a journalist.” Great comeback! Miss Punctuality is l...

Robin Hood 3x11 "The Enemy of My Enemy"

I took a bit of a break from my rewatch and spent the time working on a couple Robin Hood fanfictions and starting a rewatch of Secret Diary of a Call Girl. I knew season three would be hard to get through. I managed to fly through the first two seasons, but season three of Robin Hood really just doesn’t feel the same to me. It loses some of its rewatchability. Is that a word? Anyway, we’re nearing the end. This is the last normal episode of the season. After this, all we have left is the two part series finale. Let’s get started! Thoughts While Watching        It’s definitely weird watching these two going on a mission together.          Oh, geez… o    Guy: It’s easy for you to say. Your father seduced my mother. o    Robin: Well, it didn’t take much effort, did it?          Robin, you deserved to get knocked off your horse. Shut your mouth. I don’t even like Guy, but you shut your mouth anyway...
